What is The Treatment?
Fillings may be required if you have dental decay. They help to restore the tooth once the decay has been removed, ensuring the shape and structure resemble the natural tooth. They can be done in a silver material, amalgam, or white composite.

The Treatment Process
01. Examination
Your dentist will perform a full examination of the mouth including x-rays to identify and areas of decay which may require treatment.
02. Treatment
Book an appointment at a time that fits your schedule. The decay will be removed, and a filling placed using the most suitable material for you. A filling appointment usually takes around 30 to 45 minutes, and you will be given a local anaesthetic to ensure you do not feel any pain during the appointment.
03. Prevent
Ensure you prevent further decay by regularly attending dental check ups, brushing your teeth twice per day with a fluoride toothpaste and minimising sugar attacks. Visiting the hygienist regularly to remove biofilm build-up is also recommended for optimal oral health.

We offer free, no obligation consultations to allow you to discuss your treatment options with a dentist. We take a £25 deposit which can be refunded after you have attended your appointment, or taken off your treatment plan.
